Perspectives Counseling of LI is founded by Abby Leefer, a licensed clinical social worker since 1989. Through Perspectives Counseling of Long Island, she provides a safe, non-judgmental environment in which a client can speak about and explore their issues. Abby employs a variety of techniques while working with her clients; she uses cognitive behavioral therapy, the psychoanalytic theory, a family systems approach, and most importantly, Rogerian-based humanistic treatment.
